ANDREA PHILLIPS

Andrea Donna Phillips, of Mora, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.  She was 64 years old.

Andrea was born on March 28, 1960, in Giessen, Germany to parents Earl and Ingrid (Ledermann) Gunderson.  At a year old, the family moved to America, settling in Minnesota.  She graduated from Mora High School in 1978.

In 1979, Andrea married Robert Kaliszewski.  They later divorced in 1987.

Andrea worked most of her career as a photographer for Fingerhut, photographing products for their catalog.

In 2005, she married Daniel Phillips, and they lived in Akron, CO. They divorced in 2021, bringing Andrea back home to Mora.

She was extremely creatives and sold many items through her Etsy store including soaps, perfumes, lip balms, and crocheted coin purses.  She enjoyed fishing, flowers, and animals, especially her puppies.

Andrea is preceded in death by her father Earl Gunderson, son Christopher Kaliszewski, and stepfather Friedhelm Brand.

She is survived by her mother Ingrid Brand; sons, Michael Kaliszewski and Robert (Erika) Kaliszewski; grandchildren Nathan Cooper, Cameron, Mason, Liam, and Skye   Kaliszewski; siblings, Bill Traxler, Shirley Chapman, Roxann Bugh, and Nancy Grosland; many other relatives and friends.
 

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Mora with Rick Martens officiating  

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. 

Inurnment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
