BEVERLY FERN HENDREN

Beverly Hendren, formerly of Stanchfield, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.  She was 86 years old.

Beverly (Bev) was born on September 7, 1936 in Bear Creek Wisconsin. She was raised in Minneapolis, MN along with her seven siblings. Bev married her loving husband George at the age of 16, after being childhood friends since the second grade.

Beverly & George lived in Minneapolis until 1974, when they moved their family to Stanchfield, MN. Together Beverly & George raised seven children along with their grandson Travis.

Bev was a full time homemaker, full of fun & energy. She loved gardening, fishing & traveling with George and their camper. During the last three years after her husband George passed, Bev moved to Chisago City, Minnesota and resided with her loving daughter Pamela & her Son-in-law Bob. She spent her remaining days watching wildlife, enjoying the flowers in her garden & relaxing on her patio. Bev's favorite bird was the Cardinal.

Beverly's life was full of visits from family & friends. She especially enjoyed all the visits from her children, grandchildren, great & great-great grandchildren.  Beverly was a treasured friend and she had a “motherly influence” on the many lives she touched. She will be dearly missed, but not forgotten.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband George and daughter Connie.

She is survived by her children, George Jr. (Debbie), Steve (Dana), Pamela (Bob) Boyle, Cathy (Wally) Hartland, Judy, David (Shari), Travis (Alicia) Deforest; and three generations of grandchildren and their families; as well as many other relatives and friends. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Braham Event Center with a Time for Remembrances at 2:30 followed by a meal.

A Private Family Inurnment was in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Braham.
