Beverly Ann Wilson, of Isanti, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Elim Home in Princeton. She was 69 years old.
Beverly was born on April 27, 1954, in Mora, Minnesota to parents George and LaVerne (Pearson) Wallace. She grew up in Mora, the second of five children. While attending Mora High School, she loved singing and participated in theater before graduating in 1972. She attended college before moving to Washington DC with her sister Debra, where Bev worked for the Dept of Defense for a few years. She moved to Chicago where she met Dennis Raymond Wilson. They were married on March 28, 1980, in Las Vegas. They made their home in Chicago where Bev worked for a Travel Agency. Bev was able to travel across the world to check out the destinations they were booking for their clients. When the agency partnered with Greek Airlines, she took multiple trips to Greece, a favorite spot along with the Cayman Islands and Las Vegas. Bev retired in 2005 and she and Dennis moved to Isanti, Minnesota to be closer to her family. They enjoyed being snowbirds in the winter months and traveling to different states for about 10 years.
Bev loved baseball and was a diehard Cubs fan, casino trips to play the slots, and was an avid reader. She will be dearly missed.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
Beverly is survived by her husband Dennis; siblings, Jean Black, Debra Wallace (Kenneth Hasskamp), James (Robyn) Wallace, and Vicki Wallace; brothers-in-law, Richard (MaryJean) Wilson and Thomas (Barbara) Wilson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
