DANIEL C BANKERS

Daniel “Danny” Cody Bankers, of Mora, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his parents' home.  He was 35 years old.

Danny was born on December 20, 1986 in Mora, Minnesota to parents Ted and Kim (Kubat) Bankers.  He grew up in Mora, graduating from Mora High School in 2005.  In his youth he enjoyed playing hockey, riding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and snowmobiles.  He established a lifelong love for the outdoors, especially hunting.  He hunted turkeys and ducks, but deer hunting was his favorite time of year with either a rifle or bow.  Ice fishing for northern pike with tip-ups was a favorite winter activity.  

After high school, Danny attended Vermillion Community College. He made his career in the construction industry, working for Midwest Concrete, PCI, and later at Minnesota Limited Pipeline as a welder’s apprentice.  During this time, he was married briefly.  Danny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Ted and Kim Bankers; brother Nick (Ashley) Bankers; nieces, Lydia, Emma, and Elsie; many other relatives and friends.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
