DANNY SJODIN

Danny D. Sjodin, of Mora, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  He was 74 years old.

Danny was born on  March 25, 1949 in Milaca, Minnesota to parents Alton and Helen (Peterson) Sjodin.

He was a welder for more than 40 years, working in Alaska and Minnesota.  Danny loved the outdoors, especially the time he spent in Alaska raising his five sons with his wife Judie.  His boys were his world and his grandchildren completed his universe.  He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Judie; brothers, Mike and David; sisters, Marilyn and Donna; nieces, Nina and Ronda; and nephew Baby David.

He is survived by his sons, Les (Briana), Chad (Sarah), Wyatt (Melissa), Joey, and Luke; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Taytum, Adam, Anna, Reina, Alita, Taryn, and Kyle; special friend since 2nd grade Donna; brothers, Al (Carol), Richard, Greg (Kim), and Brad (Bobbie); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private family graveside and inurnment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mora.
