DAVID SENN

David A. Senn, of Mora, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at M Health Fairview - St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota surrounded by his children and his best friend.  He was 69 years old.

David "Dave" Arthur Senn was born on August 23, 1955 to Mary Anne (O’Brien) and Douglas Arthur Senn. He is the fifth of six children.

Dave’s love for sports developed early in life. Whether the memory be in track and field, skiing, or gymnastics, he never forgot the records he held and the goals he met.

After living his life in numerous towns around the Minnesota metro, he eventually settled in Mora. Making connections came easy to Dave. This made his work, at his Dry Cleaners (Meyer-Grand Cleaners) and Grand Casino Hinckley, effortless. His favorite pastimes were spent on the beaches or in the ocean off of Florida’s coast, scuba diving all day and sporting a Hawaiian button up as soon as he was back on land. He prided himself on not taking life too seriously, yet he filled each moment he lived with unlimited love and patience.

He was preceded in death by his wife Debbie; his parents Anne and Douglas; his sister Marianne; and numerous furry friends whom he loved as family, Chase, Willow, Digger, and Breezy.

Dave is survived by his children Derek (Addie) Senn of Marshall, Summer (Easton) Senn of Mora; step-children; Jessica Herst of Wilmar, Sonya (Jeff) Fish of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren Brandon Jr., Kaytelynn, Taylor, Devon, Damian, Aria, Sophia, Autumn, and Daxton; his siblings Stephen, Mark, Susan, Bryan; and his dog Zeus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to give Dave the send off he deserves.  Donations can be given in the "donation" link above.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday February 23, 2025 at Hamilton Funeral Home – Akkerman Chapel in Mora.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
