DENNIS JOHNSON

Dennis William Johnson, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the Sandstone Health Care Center.  He was 80 years old.

Dennis was born on December 3, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents William R. and Dorothy M. (Johnson) Johnson. He grew up in Braham, attending Braham Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Deloris "DeDe" Heald, and son Michael Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Carol; son Ron (Julie) Johnson; daughter-in-law Nina (Josh) Martin; grandchildren, Megan (Chad) Vandehey, Melissa Johnson, Brad Johnson, Bobbie (Joe) Peterson, and Beth (Mason) Ramberg; great grandchildren, Wesley, Karter, Bristol and Quinn Vandehey, Brooklynn Johnson, Ensley Johnson, Jessa and Brynlee Peterson; Alayna and Teddy Ramberg; sister Doris Johnson (Bill Leppanen); Carol's children, Teresa Wickeham, Valerie (Rodney) Babb, Lynn (Vern) Fix, Christine (Paul) Anderson, Terrance "Terry" II Wickeham, and Michael (Nina) Wickeham; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 4:30pm on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham.
