DOREEN HEWITT

April 5, 2024 saw heaven gain an angel as Doreen Hewitt’s multi-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia came to an end.

Doreen’s life was filled with love and care for her friends and family. “Mother” was the name she loved best, and no one’s eyes gleamed brighter than hers when acting in that role. Doreen was happiest holding or playing with one of the “little ones” in her life. Whether it was a home cooked meal or sitting cross legged on the floor with a toddler, Doreen’s passion was taking care of her family. She also loved feeling the wind in her face traveling with her husband on their motorcycle.

Her infectious laugh and caring demeanor will be sorely missed, but her family is content knowing she is in a better place.

Doreen leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Bob; son Rob; daughter Jenelle; grandchildren Taylor, Shelby, Brady, Jacob, Anna, and Abby; as well as four great grandchildren, Jamison, Bennett, Chloe and Kolby; many other relatives and friends.

Sleep well Mom.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
