Dorothy Marilyn (Saice) Gay, of Stanchfield, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 71 years old.
Dorothy spent much of her career as a photography and excelled at taking photos of children because she loved to make them smile and laugh. She had the gift of gab and enjoyed talking to family, friends, and anyone her meet. Crafting was a favorite hobby and she painstakingly painted little "smile bugs" that she would gift to strangers to bring a smile to their day. Family was so important to Dorothy and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel A. and Ruth Mae (Heaney) Saice; siblings, Diane, James, David, Cherrie, Roseita, Debbie, Dan, and Dennis.
Dorothy is survived by her husband David Gay; sons, Travis and Robert; step-sons, Jason and Theron; granddaughter Kayli; bother Darrell Saice; many other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, no services are being held.
