EVELYN L TRAMM

Evelyn L. Tramm, age 95, of Isle passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. 

Evelyn was born February 11, 1927 to Albert and Claritha (Quaster) Grant in Isle Harbor Township. She was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church in Isle. She attended grade school in Wahkon and graduated from Isle High School. On February 20, 1945 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Tramm and they made their home in Isle.

She worked at the Isle Clinic for Doc Johnson for 11 years. Following that she worked for 20 years at the Lakeside State Bank in Isle, retiring in 1989.

She was a wealth of knowledge and gave encouragement to all. If there was a game on she was watching it, she loved her sports. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, sisters, Shirley Forcier and Jeanne VanderHeyden; brothers- in-law, Marlyn Tramm and Cliff Forcier.

She is survived by sister in-law Donna Tramm; brother in-law Jim VanderHeyden; nieces, Julie (Doug) Anderson, Jayne (Jim) Hofland, Angela (Mark) Haglund; nephews, Jay (Kristi Pullins) VanderHeyden, Jason (Heather Murphy) VanderHeyden, and Thomas (Stacy Harlander) VanderHeyden; many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and plus many more relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Isle with Pastor Mark Mauunla officiating. 

Memorial Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. 

Inurnment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Isle.
