GORDON ERNEST ERICKSON

Gordon “Gordy” Ernest Erickson of Mora, Minnesota passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at home surrounded by family. He was 63 years old.

Gordy was born December 12, 1959, in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Ernest and Helen (Kelley) Erickson. He grew up in Maplewood and graduated from North Saint Paul high school.

Gordy was a sheet metal worker which he also enjoyed as a hobby. Gordy was fond of painting vehicles. He along with his siblings and friends helped his parents build their home in Mora, Minnesota. Later in life Gordy resided with his parents in Mora. A favorite pastime was enjoying a bonfire with family and friends. He was always ready and willing to help family and friends.

Gordy was preceded in death by his mother Helen Erickson.

He is survived by his father Ernest Erickson, sister Lisa Paquin, two brothers, Scott (Rena) Erickson and Joseph (Tamara) Erickson, two daughters Heidi Erickson and Angel (Joshua) Erickson, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; as well as several nephews and nieces, other relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life was held privately by his family.
