HAZEL EASTMAN

Hazel J. Eastman, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society - Bethany in Brainerd.  She was 99 years old.

Hazel was born on June 16, 1925 in Mora, Minnesota to parents Otto and Anna (Splittgerberg) Frase. She grew up in Mora, graduating from Mora High School.  Hazel married Maynard Eastman and they were blessed with 4 children. They farmed in Henriette and Hazel loved baking and reading religious books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Maynard Eastman, daughter Cheryl Eastman, great grandson Ronald Jr., brother Ivan, and sisters, Mildred and Beatrice.

Hazel is survived by her children, Ronald (Evie) Eastman, Daryl (Julia) Eastman, and Rhonda (Steve) McGrew; grandchildren, Michael, Kim (Todd), Coree (Robert), and Christy (Scott); 7 great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

A Private Burial will be held in the Grasston Union Cemetery.
