HELEN LINDER

Helen Marie (Boe) Linder, of Mora, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Eastwood Senior Living.  She was 86 years old.

Helen was born on June 4, 1939, in Isle, MN to Ragnvald and Anna (Langerud) Boe.  She lived in Isle with her parents and 3 siblings, Iola, Ronnie, and Donnie.  Helen graduated in 1957 from Isle High School.  She worked at Honeywell prior to being married to Gary Linder on January 28, 1961, in Isle.  Gary and Helen welcomed three children into their lives, Karla, Jon and Todd. They lived in rural Mora where they farmed. Helen continued to live in the Mora area after the death of her husband in 1979.

Helen was proud of her Norwegian Heritage and was a member of the Sons of Norway and was able to visit Norway.  She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.  Helen enjoyed square dancing, doing crafts, outside yard work, gardening, making Mac & Cheese, decorating for Christmas, traveling, and her monthly lunches with her classmates.  But her greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, siblings Iola (George) Taylor and Donnie Boe, and great granddaughter Courtney Winslow.

She is survived by her children, Karla (Dale) Voge, Jon (Rose) Linder, Todd Linder, and Mike Cashman; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother Ronald (Maryann) Boe; many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Mora with Rick Martens officiating.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

A luncheon at church will follow the services.
