James “Jim” "Tony" A. Stelflug, of Mora, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at his home. He was 77 years old.
Jim was born on March 29, 1948, in Alexandria, Minnesota to James and Dorothy (Baggett) Stelflug.
Jim served in the United States Army from 1968-1970 and was a truck driver, hauling ammunition during the Vietnam war.
Jim spent 36 years working for KingKoil as an upholsterer, shop mechanic, and driving delivery truck. He also worked a second job for Mike Sanko doing custom upholstery work for many years.
On March 29, 2004, Jim was united in marriage to Penny Cummings in Las Vegas.
Jim loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. So many memories were made camping with family and friends and time spent at Portage Lake in McGregor. Jim was a 50-year member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, serving as Noble Grand for many years. He was a proud military veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW. While a quiet man, Jim lived loud and will be deeply missed by all.
