JENNIFER (KOSKA) BUTLER

Jennifer Lynn (Koska) Butler, of Mora, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.  She was 49 years old.

Jennifer was born on October 10, 1972 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Donald MacAllister and Jill Koska.  She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1990.  She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Minnco for a number of years after high school.  She moved to Illinois where she raised her three children, Justin, Samantha, and Elizabeth.  In the early 2000’s, Jennifer returned to Minnesota and worked a few temp jobs before taking another Quality Control position at TO Plastics in Otsego where she continued to work until her death.

Jennifer was filled with so much light and love that she shared with those around her and had a smile that could light up a room.  She loved being around people and could make new friends anywhere she went.  She enjoyed hanging out at the bowling alley, or sitting around a bonfire on a perfect summer night, or cuddling up with her daughters to watch movies.  She thrived being outdoors soaking up the sunshine, tending to her garden and sunflowers, or watching the hummingbirds. She will be so dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Don and Jill MacAllister of Mora; significant other Tim Salmonson; children, Justin Anton, Samantha Butler (Alex Coleman), and Elizabeth "Bella" Butler; grandchildren, Blake Anton and Annastasia Coleman; many other relatives and countless friends.

A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS WITH REVIEWAL will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Hamilton Funeral Homes- Akkerman Chapel in Mora.
