LUCILLE EVANS

Lucille "Lucy" Rose Evans passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN.  She was 89 years old.

Lucille was born in St. Augusta, Minnesota on October 31, 1934 to parents William & Alma (Gohman) Zipp.  She married her sweetheart Leander Evans on June 25, 1955.  Lee and Lucy were married for 69 years.

Lucy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, canning, and playing cards.  She loved her 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and taking care of her husband.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Mark; grandson Andrew, and siblings Dennis Zipp and Eileen Dahlin.

Lucille is survived by her husband Leander; son Donald (Carla); daughters, Diane (Dennis) Norby and Janet (Dave) Rivera; brothers, Leander Zipp and Harold Zipp; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private family inurnment will be held at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
