MARIE ADDISON

Marie Ann Addison, age 63, of Braham, passed away from cancer on Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by her children.  She will be remembered for her quiet nature and the life she lived her own way.

Marie was the loving mother of seven children, Bobby, Nick, Denise, Pat, Matt, Cynthia, and April; five beloved grandchildren, Nadia, Marshall, Melody, Kol and Bryn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Lillian (Nelson) Michaelson, and daughter Heidi.

Marie worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant at several locations within the community where she provided care and support to those in need.

Though often reserved, Marie enjoyed conversations, especially about current events—and liked sharing what she learned with others.  She had a gentle love for cats and found comfort in their companionship. 

Marie's life reflected resilience, dedication, and a steady love for her family.  She passed away peacefully and will be remembered by her family and those whose lives she touched, with comfort found in the memories and the times they shared with her.

In keeping with Marie’s wishes, no services will be held.
