MARLYS CLEMENTSON

Marlys (Torgrimson) Clementson, of Isle, passed away on November 9, 2023 at the Golden Horizon Assisted Living in Sandstone, MN.  She was 93 years old.

Marlys was born on March 7, 1930 to Marvin and Selma (Anderson) Torgrimson in Clitherall, MN.  She started school at the age of 7, where she had to walk 2.5 miles both ways.  She continued her education in Bemidji, MN to earn her Masters degree in teaching.  She taught at Isle Schools the majority of her career. 

A special thank you to the Golden Horizon staff for going above and beyond for making Marlys feel safe and cared for. 

Marlys is proceeded in death by her parents; daughter Kris Lilienthal, brother Tilford Torgrimson.  She is survived by her son Eric (Dina) Clementson; son-in-law Russell Lilienthal; grandchildren, Jorgan Hann, Paige Baumann, Peter Clementson, Joseph Clementson, Maria Clementson; sisters, Vera (Norris) Melba, Nora Abele; brother Darvin Torgrimson; many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Warman Church at 11:00 am on December 21, 2023.  

A Graveside service will be held at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji, MN.
