MICHELLE RODE

Michelle Jean Rode, of Mora, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her home.  She was 68 years old.

Michelle was born on March 12, 1957, in Hopkins, Minnesota to parents Lloyd and Delrose (Schug) Bruesehoff.  She grew up and attended school in Hopkins.

She was blessed with one son, Glen “Nick” Korpi Jr.  Michelle worked various cashier jobs throughout her life, most recently at Coborns in Mora and the Crows Nest C-store.

She was united in marriage to Loran Rode on May 14, 1996.  She loved animals especially her two cats and two dogs.  She was an avid scrapbooker and enjoyed crafting.  She loved her home being surrounded by nature and camping.  Michelle will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Glen “Nick” Korpi Jr, sister Karen Wegleitner.

She is survived by her husband Loran; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne Wegleitner, Candy (Andy) Parker, and Nancy Kusske; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Christopher, KC, Chris, Tony, Leia, Cedric, and Quandra; and their families; as well as many other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Michelle’s wishes, no service will be held.
