PATRICIA CAZA Obituary

Patricia Ann Caza, of Mora, left her earthly home on Monday, January 27, 2025, and went to her heavenly home while surrounded by family and friends.  She was 83 years old.

Patricia was born in Pomroy Township near Mora, MN on October 16, 1941.   Pat was the second oldest of 11 children born to Asa and E. Florence (Oberg) Campbell Jr.- Edwin, *Patricia, Richard, James, Linda, David, Mary, Joanne, John, Julie and Tammy.

On July 22, 1961, Pat married the love of her life, Philip Caza. Together they had two children, Lynae Joy born on June 9, 1962, and son Joseph Asa on July 3, 1969.  Over the years, they lived mainly in the Mora and Hinckley areas.  Pat and Phil enjoyed many trips to Canada camping and fishing as well as numerous camping trips with friends and family.  In the winter, family and friends would gather with snowmobiles and go on an all-day Saturday journey with a wiener roast in the woods. Pat looked forward to the yearly fall get together with all of her sisters and her yearly craft weekend with 15 other women up north.

Pat was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandma and great grandma and friend to many others.  A good game of cribbage and drinking coffee was how she liked to start her day, especially if she could skunk you and she did on occasion.  She also enjoyed playing Scrabble with anyone who could give her a good challenge, which was mostly Karen, one of her best friends.  In later years, her granddaughter Kenz took on the scrabble challenge and even won a few games. Pat loved reading, gardening, canning, doing crafty things, singing, and cooking for the family.  Most of all, she was a lover of Jesus.  She will be greatly missed by many, but rest assured we know she is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at St. Croix Hospice, who took exceptional care of Pat these past months.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, husband Phil, siblings, Edwin, James, David, John, and Tammy; and many others too numerous to mention.

She is survived by her daughter Lynae (Bill) Rappl; son Joseph (Jenny) Caza; grandchildren, Joshua (Terri) Rappl, Jonathan (Brittany) Rappl, Justin (Kaylee) Rappl, Mackenzie (Jordan) Caza, and Nathanial Caza; great grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Sophia, Parker, Connor, Laila, Berkleigh, Rhett,  Grady, and Rory; siblings, Richard (Mary Alice) Campbell, Linda (Dan) Debban, Mary (Charles) Bouska, Joanne (Michael) Norman, and Julie (Tom) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Annette Campbell, Debbie Campbell, Darline Campbell, Barb Campbell, Pat R. Caza, and Betty Caza; and many other relatives and friends.
