Paul Thomas Pepera, of Tamarack, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at his home. He was 61 years old.
Paul was born on December 16, 1963, to parents James and Lois Pepera. He grew up in a large, close-knit family and carried that love and loyalty throughout his life. Paul worked many decades at Minneapolis Oxygen where he formed lasting friendships and was known for his hard work and reliability.
An outdoorsman at heart, Paul found joy in fishing, four-wheeling and hunting. He shared these passions with his children and grandchildren.
Paul will be remembered for his humor, strength, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents James and Lois (Ryan) Pepera; father and mother-in-law Larry and Colleen Voves; siblings, David, Denny, Vicki, Patricia (Larry) Bell, Deborah (Dean) Erickson, and Kris (Jon) Hanson.
He is survived by his wife Mary; children, Elysia (Jason) Maras, Mariah Cole, David Pepera and Ethan Pepera (Katelyn McLucas); grandchildren, Austyn, Cooper, Logan, Grady, Bryson, Weston, Brantley, Brayden, Emma, Isaiah, and Blanche; siblings, Mary Jo (Bobby) Johnson, Steve (Debbie) Pepera, Monica Turek, and Kari Pepera; sisters-in-law, Vicki Pepera, Maureen (Kendall) Curtis, and Carrie (Tony) Hovey; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor.
Memorial Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
A Celebration of Paul’s Life with food, drink, and stories will follow at 1:00 pm at Jackson’s Hole in Lawler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Essentia Health Hospice.
