TERRY R OSMONSON

Terry Robert Osmonson, of Mora, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023. He was 78 years old. 

Terry was born in Worthington, MN on March 7, 1944 to Roy and Lillian (Whitt) Osmonson. The family moved to NE Minneapolis where Terry graduated from Edison High school. 

It was in downtown Minneapolis where Terry met and later married Eileen Bloom in 1963. Their love of fishing and nature brought them to purchase a cabin in the woods of Mora, MN. Besides his parrot Chico who kept him company after Eileen’s passing, Terry’s interests included fishing, fly tying, and thrifting. He was always locating that special item for family or friends! 

Terry was preceded in death by mother and father, wife Eileen, sister Kathy, and brother Roger.

He is survived by his beloved parrot Chico; daughters Laurie (Mark) and Loni (Dorian); grandchildren, Wade, Tom, Dylan (Brittney), Tasha (John), Brittani (Cassidy), Jeremy (Amanda); sisters, Bonnie and Ginger; brothers, Gordon (Renee) and Larry (Sue); as well as many other relatives and friends. 

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Hamilton Funeral Homes- Akkerman Chapel in Mora.

A Time of Sharing will be held at 2:30 pm.
