THOMAS SCHMITZ

Thomas Mark Schmitz, of Braham, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at his home in Braham.  He was 64 years old.

Our beloved Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, Uncle and friend left this earth on Sunday morning after a turn in his ongoing battle to stay.  He was able to be at home on his farm, surrounded by his family.

"My family has always been happy and healthy, if this is the price of that? I'll pay it" 

He is survived by his wife Kirstin; sons, Brad, Zach (Vanessa) and Chris; grandchildren. Madelyn, Hendrik, and Sophia; siblings John (Jodi), Ann (Terry) Hesli and Katie Schmitz (Shaun); sister-in-law Amy (Todd) Blank; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm at the family farm.
