Velma Jean O'Claire, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Homestead at Anoka Rehab. She was 85 years old.
Velma was born on September 5, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Francis and Dorothy (Wilson) Ritchie.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, son Mark O'Claire, great granddaughter Alivia Hasser, brothers David Ritchie and Daniel Ritchie.
She is survived by her children, Andrew O'Claire, Anntonette "Toni" (Henry) Hasser, Kimberly (Duane) Reichel, Dawn (Bill) Johnson, Stacy (Darold) Lindman, and LuRinda (Steve) Johnson; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother Joseph Ritchie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Hamilton Funeral Homes - Rock Chapel in Braham with Pastor Julie Beck officiating.
Memorial Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in the Grasston Union Cemetery.
A luncheon will follow at the Hope Lutheran Church in Grasston.
